What is CVE-2018-11883?
A vulnerability exists in all Android releases (Android for MSM, Firefox OS for MSM, QRD Android) from Qualcomm using the Linux kernel. This security flaw arises in the policy manager unit test when the mode parameter in the wlan function is assigned an out of bounds value. This improper handling can lead to an out of bound access, resulting in potential exploitation through unauthorized memory access while interacting with the PCL table.
