What is CVE-2018-12237?

The Symantec Reporter CLI versions 10.1 prior to 10.1.5.6 and 10.2 prior to 10.2.1.8 are vulnerable to an OS command injection. This vulnerability allows an authenticated malicious administrator with Enable mode access to execute arbitrary operating system commands. If exploited, this flaw could enable the attacker to gain elevated system privileges, posing serious security risks to the integrity and confidentiality of affected systems.
