What is CVE-2018-12293?

The getImageData function within the ImageBufferCairo class in WebCore is susceptible to a heap-based buffer overflow due to an integer overflow. This vulnerability can be exploited through specially crafted HTML content, posing a significant security risk in affected versions of WebKitGTK+ and WPE WebKit.
