What is CVE-2018-12448?

Whale Browser versions prior to 1.3.48.4 are susceptible to a security vulnerability that fails to properly display URL information in the address bar when a user navigates to non-http pages. This lack of visibility allows attackers to trick users into believing they are visiting legitimate sites, effectively enabling domain spoofing and increasing the risk of phishing attacks. Users are left unaware of the actual domain they are engaging with, putting their sensitive information at risk.
