What is CVE-2018-12572?

A vulnerability in Avast Free Antivirus prior to version 19.1.2360 allows local users to access sensitive user credentials by dumping the memory of the AvastUI.exe application upon login. This exposure could lead to unauthorized access to user accounts, as the stored credentials can be extracted and exploited by malicious actors within the local threat environment.
