Summary

A command injection vulnerability exists in the tika-server module of Apache Tika versions 1.7 to 1.17. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted headers to the tika-server, potentially allowing them to execute arbitrary commands on the server. This risk is heightened when the tika-server is exposed to untrusted clients. To mitigate this vulnerability, it is recommended to upgrade to Apache Tika version 1.18.
