What is CVE-2018-13415?

The XML parsing engine in Plex Media Server 1.13.2.5154 exhibits a vulnerability that allows for XML External Entity (XXE) attacks. This security flaw can be exploited by remote, unauthenticated attackers to access sensitive files from the filesystem, initiate SMB connections to capture and crack NetNTLM challenge/response data, or relay these connections, potentially leading to Remote Command Execution within Windows domain environments.
