What is CVE-2018-14055?

ZNC versions prior to 1.7.1-rc1 contain a vulnerability where untrusted lines from the network are inadequately validated. This flaw can allow non-admin users to escalate their privileges, potentially enabling them to inject malicious configurations into the znc.conf file, thus compromising the integrity and security of the application.
