Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in WUZHI CMS by WUZHI
CVE-2018-14512
6.1MEDIUM
What is CVE-2018-14512?
WUZHI CMS version 4.1.0 is susceptible to a persistent cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this weakness by injecting arbitrary web scripts or HTML through the 'form[nickname]' parameter found in the URI index.php?m=core&f=set&v=sendmail. Once the administrator accesses the 'system settings - mail server' section, the injected XSS payload activates, potentially leading to unauthorized script execution and data theft.
