What is CVE-2018-14631?
Moodle versions prior to 3.5.2, 3.4.5, and 3.3.8 contain a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Boost theme. Specifically, the blog search feature does not adequately filter the GET parameters in the breadcrumb navigation. This inadequacy allows an attacker to inject malicious JavaScript, leading to potential exploitation if users follow crafted URLs containing the harmful script.
