What is CVE-2018-15583?

A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in GNUBOARD5 versions prior to 5.3.1.6, specifically in the point_list.php file. This flaw allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML code into the application through the popup title parameter. As a result, an attacker could potentially execute malicious scripts in the context of the user’s session, compromising the security of user data and application integrity.
