What is CVE-2018-15745?
Certain Argus Surveillance DVR devices running version 4.0.0.0 are vulnerable to an unauthenticated directory traversal attack. This vulnerability allows an attacker to manipulate the WEBACCOUNT.CGI RESULTPAGE parameter via a crafted request that includes encoded directory traversal sequences (..%2F). As a result, this can lead to unauthorized access and disclosure of sensitive files on the affected device, potentially compromising system integrity and data security.
