What is CVE-2018-16226?
A vulnerability exists in the web admin component of Mitel MiVoice Office 400, affecting versions R5.0 HF3 (v8839a1) and prior, which allows unauthenticated attackers to execute reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This occurs due to inadequate validation processes for the start.asp page. If successfully exploited, this flaw may enable attackers to run arbitrary scripts, potentially compromising sensitive information stored in users' web browsers.
