What is CVE-2018-16358?

A cross-site scripting vulnerability exists in the media manager of Dotclear prior to version 2.14.1. This weakness allows remote authenticated users to upload HTML files with the .ahtml extension. These files can contain malicious scripts which, when executed in the context of a victim's browser, could compromise user data and facilitate further attacks on the application.
