What is CVE-2018-1657?

IBM Publishing Engine versions 2.1.2, 6.0.5, and 6.0.6 contain a cross-site scripting vulnerability that permits users to inject arbitrary JavaScript code through the Web UI. This exploit can manipulate the expected behavior of the application, which may result in the unauthorized disclosure of user credentials during a trusted session. This flaw can potentially compromise the security of the affected environments if left unaddressed.
