What is CVE-2018-16861?
A cross-site scripting flaw exists in the Foreman component of Red Hat Satellite, allowing attackers with elevated permissions to create entries through the Hosts, Monitor, Infrastructure, or Administer Menus. This vulnerability enables the execution of XSS attacks against users, which could facilitate the execution of malicious code and the unauthorized extraction of anti-CSRF tokens from higher-privileged users, posing significant security risks.
