What is CVE-2018-16955?

The Oracle WebCenter Interaction Portal 10.3.3 has a vulnerability that allows reflected cross-site scripting through the in_hi_redirect parameter. When this parameter is prefixed with the 'https://' scheme, it reflects unsafely within an HTML META tag in the HTTP response. Attackers can exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts into web pages, potentially leading to unauthorized actions by users and compromise of sensitive information.
