Summary

A vulnerability has been identified in TP-Link TL-WR886N routers, whereby authenticated attackers can exploit the devices by sending excessively long JSON data for the time_switch name. This exploit results in a denial of service condition, causing critical router services such as inetd, HTTP, DNS, and UPnP to crash, thereby disrupting network connectivity.
