What is CVE-2018-17443?

A stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the D-Link Central WiFi Manager prior to version 1.03r0100-Beta1. The issue arises due to improper handling of the 'sitename' parameter at the UpdateSite endpoint, allowing attackers to inject malicious scripts. If exploited, this vulnerability can lead to unauthorized actions and sensitive data exposure for users accessing the affected application.
