Summary

The BGP daemon (bgpd) in IP Infusion's ZebOS and OcNOS software versions is vulnerable to a denial of service condition that can be triggered by remote attackers. By sending an autonomous system (AS) path containing 8 or more autonomous system number (ASN) elements, an attacker can disrupt the normal operation of the affected software, causing significant interruptions to network services. This vulnerability poses a risk to network stability and availability, allowing malicious entities to exploit it for malicious purposes.
