What is CVE-2018-18065?

A vulnerability exists in Net-SNMP prior to version 5.8 due to a NULL Pointer Exception in the _set_key function found in agent/helpers/table_container.c. An authenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted UDP packet, causing the SNMP agent instance to crash and resulting in a Denial of Service condition.
