What is CVE-2018-18572?

osCommerce version 2.3.4.1 is susceptible to a remote code execution vulnerability due to an incomplete '.htaccess' file governing the blacklist filter on the 'product' page. This weakness enables remote authenticated administrators to upload potentially harmful '.pht' files, circumventing the intended restrictions that prevent the execution of files with other extensions such as .phtml and .php5. Exploiting this vulnerability allows unauthorized execution of arbitrary PHP code, posing significant risk to the integrity and security of the application.
