What is CVE-2018-18672?

GNUBOARD5 version 5.3.1.9 is susceptible to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to improper validation of user input within the 'board head contents' parameter in the adm/board_form_update.php script. This flaw enables remote attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML, potentially compromising the security of the affected application and its users.
