What is CVE-2018-18838?

A vulnerability exists in Netdata 1.10.0 that allows an attacker to perform log injection via a specially crafted URL parameter. The flaw is due to an unvalidated input in the api/v1/registry endpoint where a '%0a' sequence can be included in the URL. This may permit unauthorized users to manipulate log entries, potentially leading to misleading logs and security risks.
