What is CVE-2018-19087?
The IOBit Malware Fighter 6.2 product is prone to a stack-based buffer overflow due to improper handling of IOCTL requests. Specifically, the issue arises when an attacker sends an oversized input (greater than 8 bytes) to IOCTL 0x8006E044. This vulnerability can lead to potential denial of service or unauthorized code execution, allowing attackers to gain elevated privileges on the vulnerable system.
