What is CVE-2018-19184?

A vulnerability in the Go Ethereum software allows attackers to trigger a denial of service condition by sending specially crafted bytecode to the application. This issue is due to improper handling of the bytecode in the cmd/evm/runner.go source file, resulting in a segmentation fault (SEGV) which can disrupt service availability.
