What is CVE-2018-19411?

PRTG Network Monitor prior to version 18.2.40.1683 contains a vulnerability that permits an authenticated user with a read-only account to exploit the application and create new users, including those with read-write access and administrative privileges. This occurs due to inadequate checks on user rights when processing HTTP requests to the /api/addusers endpoint, potentially allowing users to escalate their privileges without appropriate authorization.
