What is CVE-2018-19509?

The vulnerability arises in the wg7.php file of Webgalamb 7.0, where insufficient input sanitization allows for opportunistic calls to htmlspecialchars(). This bypass results in the risk of injecting arbitrary JavaScript code into the database. Consequently, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute malicious scripts under the administrator's privileges, compromising the security of the application.
