What is CVE-2018-19660?

An authenticated command injection vulnerability exists in the web server functionality of Moxa NPort W2x50A products. When an attacker sends a specially crafted HTTP POST request to the /goform/webSettingProfileSecurity endpoint, it can lead to the execution of operating system commands with root privileges, potentially compromising the integrity and security of the device. This vulnerability affects devices with firmware versions prior to 2.2 Build_18082311, exposing them to significant security risks.
