A Denial of Service vulnerability exists in the lmgrd and vendor daemon components of FlexNet Publisher, enabling remote attackers to disrupt the communication between lmgrd and the vendor daemon. By sending a specific sequence of messages, attackers can effectively halt the heartbeat signal, resulting in the vendor daemon's shutdown. This disruption could impact users relying on the service for software licensing and access management.
