What is CVE-2018-20032?

A Denial of Service vulnerability exists in FlexNet Publisher related to message decoding within the lmgrd and vendor daemon components. This issue allows a remote attacker to exploit the interaction between lmgrd and the vendor daemon by sending a specific sequence of messages. As a result, the heartbeat communication can be disrupted, leading to the vendor daemon shutting down unexpectedly.
