What is CVE-2018-20033?

A vulnerability exists in the lmgrd and vendor daemon components of FlexNet Publisher that could allow remote attackers to exploit memory management issues. By manipulating memory allocation and deallocation, an attacker may disrupt the communication between lmgrd and the vendor daemon, potentially leading to the daemon's shutdown. As of now, there are no known exploits for this weakness.
