What is CVE-2018-20034?

This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to disrupt the normal operation of the FlexNet Publisher by sending an invalid sequence of messages to the lmgrd or vendor daemon. This results in the heartbeat mechanism failing, leading to the shutdown of the vendor daemon. As a result, legitimate users may be unable to access services reliant on the affected software, illustrating a significant disruption to operational integrity.
