What is CVE-2018-20249?

The vulnerability in Foxit Quick PDF Library stems from the improper handling of malformed PDF files containing invalid xref entries. When a user attempts to load such files using the DAOpenFile or DAOpenFileReadOnly functions, the application may experience an access violation due to out of bounds memory access.
