What is CVE-2018-20422?

The authentication bypass vulnerability in Discuz! DiscuzX 3.4 occurs when the WeChat login feature is enabled. It allows remote attackers to exploit a non-empty #wechat#common_member_wechatmp parameter. By crafting a specific request to plugin.php with the ac=wxregister command, attackers can gain unauthorized access to user accounts without knowledge of the account credentials, posing a significant security risk.
