What is CVE-2018-25018?

The UnRAR compression utility versions 5.6.1.7, 5.7.4, and 6.0.3 are susceptible to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability. This issue arises during a memory copy operation (memcpy), specifically in the QuickOpen::ReadRaw function when called by QuickOpen::ReadNext. Attackers may exploit this vulnerability to manipulate memory and cause unauthorized access or instability in the application.
