What is CVE-2018-25215?

Excel Password Recovery Professional version 8.2.0.0 is susceptible to a local buffer overflow vulnerability that can lead to denial of service. By inputting a maliciously crafted string of 5000 bytes or more into the 'E-Mail and Registrations Code' field, an attacker can trigger a crash of the application upon clicking the Register button. This vulnerability poses a risk of disrupting service for legitimate users.
