WebDrive version 18.00.5057 is susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability that enables local attackers to crash the application. This security flaw is triggered by entering an excessively long string—specifically, a buffer-overflow payload of up to 5000 bytes—in the username field while setting up a Secure WebDAV connection. When this lengthy input is processed during a connection test, the application can become unresponsive, resulting in a crash.
