What is CVE-2018-25248?

The MyBB Downloads Plugin version 2.0.3 is susceptible to a persistent cross-site scripting vulnerability, allowing legitimate users to inject harmful scripts via the download title field. This security flaw enables attackers to submit malicious content, which triggers when an administrator reviews new downloads in the downloads.php interface. If exploited, this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, and compromised site integrity.
