What is CVE-2018-25278?
PicaJet FX version 2.6.5 contains a vulnerability that allows local attackers to initiate a denial of service by exploiting the registration fields. When attackers submit oversized input—specifically, a buffer length of 6000 bytes—into the Registration Name and Registration Key fields found in the Help menu's Register PicaJet dialog, it triggers a crash of the application. This vulnerability can disrupt the service and undermine user experience.
