What is CVE-2018-25286?

The Easy PhotoResQ version 1.0 is vulnerable to a buffer overflow that can be exploited by local attackers. By entering a significantly long string—specifically a 6000-byte payload—in the Folder/filename field through the File Options dialog, attackers can trigger a denial of service condition, causing the application to crash. This vulnerability poses a risk as it allows malefactors to disrupt operations and degrade the user experience.
