What is CVE-2018-25292?

Bome Restorator 1793 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows local attackers to crash the application by inputting an excessively long string into the Name field. By supplying a crafted payload exceeding 4000 bytes, an attacker can trigger an application crash, leading to a denial of service.
