What is CVE-2018-25298?

Merge PACS 7.0 has a cross-site request forgery vulnerability that enables attackers to forge requests, allowing them to perform unauthorized actions. By exploiting this weakness, malicious actors can craft HTML forms that target the merge-viewer endpoint. If successful, they can submit crafted POST requests to /servlet/actions/merge-viewer/summary with valid login credentials, resulting in session hijacking and unauthorized access to the PACS environment.
