What is CVE-2018-25308?

The BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Fields version 2.6.3 has a vulnerability that enables authenticated users to execute remote code. By manipulating unescaped POST parameters, specifically 'field_hiddenfile' and 'field_deleteimg', attackers can delete arbitrary files from the server during profile editing. This loophole exposes sites to significant risk if exploited, allowing unauthorized actions on the server.
