What is CVE-2018-25315?

Alloksoft Video Joiner version 4.6.1217 is affected by a buffer overflow vulnerability that could allow local attackers to execute arbitrary code. This can be triggered by supplying a crafted string in the License Name field during the license registration process. By exploiting this flaw, attackers can overwrite the structured exception handler (SEH) and execute malicious shellcode, posing a serious security risk to users of the application.
