Allok Fast AVI MPEG Splitter 1.2 is susceptible to a stack based buffer overflow that can be exploited by local attackers. By crafting a malicious payload, an attacker can input a specially-formatted license name string, which includes a sequence of junk data followed by structured shellcode.
