What is CVE-2018-25343?

Smartshop version 1 is vulnerable to a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attack, enabling malicious actors to alter user profiles. By crafting a deceptive HTML form that targets the editprofile.php endpoint, attackers can coax authenticated users, such as administrators, into executing unauthorized changes to their profiles. This is accomplished through hidden fields in the form that automatically populate the email and password parameters when accessed by a logged-in user, compromising account integrity and security.

Affected Version(s)
