What is CVE-2018-25355?

Audiograbber 1.83 is susceptible to a local buffer overflow vulnerability that can be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code. By submitting specially crafted input in the Interpret or Album fields, an attacker can trigger a buffer overflow, overriding structured exception handling (SEH) pointers and executing injected shellcode with the application's privileges. This vulnerability poses significant risks as it may lead to unauthorized code execution and potential system compromise.
