What is CVE-2018-25367?

NASA openVSP version 3.16.1 is susceptible to a buffer overflow vulnerability that can be exploited by local attackers. Specifically, an attacker can crash the application by entering an excessively long string, up to 5000 bytes, into the geometry name field. This allows for the triggering of a denial of service condition through the Geom browser pod addition interface.
