What is CVE-2018-25377?

The registration dialog in Flash Slideshow Maker Professional 5.20 is susceptible to a buffer overflow vulnerability. Local attackers can exploit this flaw through structured exception handling, allowing them to execute arbitrary code with system privileges. By crafting a malicious payload and entering it into the Name and Code fields of the Help > Register dialog, attackers can potentially gain unauthorized access and execute harmful operations on the affected system.
